Posts about co-op elections and S Group member democracy.
A co-operative does not exist to make a profit for shareholders but to obtain products and services for its members at favourable prices. The Varuboden-Osla delegate assembly can influence food prices, local food, village services and the jobs of a major employer. Yet most customer-owners do not vote, so a seat can be won with very few ballots. That is why I urge every customer-owner to use their vote: in co-op elections, a single vote counts for unusually much.
